About us
Since 2011, Faszination Dampf e.V. has been dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of historic rolling stock. At the heart of our work is express passenger steam locomotive 01 1104 (012 104-6), kept in original Deutsche Bundesbahn condition – one of the most powerful and elegant steam locomotives ever to run on German rails.
Through their voluntary commitment, our members keep this piece of engineering history – the fascination of steam – alive.
Our work
